2024 SUMMER INTENSIVES
At Complexions Contemporary Ballet Academy Summer Intensives, dance artists will be afforded boundary-breaking experiences and top level training.
Study with Complexions Directors, current and former company members, and esteemed guest faculty. Learn Complexions repertory, train in Classical and Contemporary techniques, including NIQUE, the unparalleled Contemporary Ballet Technique specifically developed by Artistic Directors Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson.
Dancers will focus on technical efficiency, artistic expression, versatility and range of dynamics - with a keen awareness of the fullness in physicality necessary to convey impactful dancing.

STUDENTS 13 YEARS & UP
Pointe Work is Optional and not Required
Video Audition submission is required for all intensives.
Step 1: Choose the Summer Intensive you want to attend.
Step 2:

Prepare a 1 - 2 minute solo video in the Ballet or Contemporary genre of your choice.

You can learn this COMPLEXIONS COMBINATION as your audition phrase.

If you want to be considered for Pointe Add-on, please add a 30 second point variation video OR learn this POINTE COMBINATION and submit as part of your audition video.
Step 3: Complete the AUDITION REGISTRATION FORM. Include the URL link to your video audition (we do not accept videos by email).
Step 4: Results will be sent to you by email. Please allow at least 10 days after your application is submitted. Please check your spam folder!
Step 5: If accepted, we will send you an invoice. Please complete payment by invoice due date to save your spot.
If you earned a scholarship you must register to the program of your choice, submit your registration form and upload your scholarship certificate to the form. Once we receive your registration and scholarship certificate, we will invoice you accordingly.
