Monica Montaño

Director of Education

Ms. Montano joined Complexions Academy in 2021, first as Academy Manager and now as Director of Education, contributing to the overall growth of the Academy's programs. Ms. Montano, also co-directs Scouting Dance, a project that helps young Mexican dancers access international educational opportunities.

Natiya Kezevadze

Master Faculty

Natiya Kezevadze started her training in Classical Ballet at V. Chabukiani State Ballet School in Tbilisi, Georgia. At age thirteen, she was afforded the privilege of being accepted to the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet She has taught at the Joffrey Experience in NYC, Broadway Dance Center, and has acted as assistant choreographer with the New York City Ballet’s Choreographic Institute and for Dwight Rhoden’s original international production of the Great Gatsby Ballet. 


Jillian Davis

Master Faculty

Jillian has attended San Francisco Ballet, School of American Ballet, as well as Pacific Northwest Ballet and LINES Ballet. Jillian has been a company member with Complexions since 2014. She has been part of several Dwight Rhoden world premieres. Along with being a dancer with Complexions, Jillian is part of the core faculty for Complexions Academy, teaching at intensives and master classes around the world.

Miguel Solano

Master Faculty

Miguel Solano is originally from Medellín, Colombia. He began his training there before moving to New York City, where he completed his studies at the Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet on full scholarship. He went on to perform with Gelsey Kirkland Ballet, Connecticut Ballet, and Thomas/Ortiz Dance before joining Complexions Contemporary Ballet in 2018, later becoming Assistant Rehearsal Director in 2023, and Artistic Associate and Repetiteur in 2025.

Terk Lewis

Faculty

Lewis joined Complexions Contemporary Ballet where he danced for seven years and performed works by Dwight Rhoden, Desmond Richardson, Jae Man Joo, William Forsyth and Marcelo Gomes. He has choreographed his own commissioned works for The National Dance Theatre Company of Jamaica, The Steps Conservatory, The Joffrey Ballet School, Black Boys Dance Too and Western Michigan University.

Lucy Stewart

Faculty

Lucy Stewart grew up right outside of Denver, Colorado, dancing at Colorado Ballet and Kinetic Arts Dance Studio. She studied at The Juilliard School in the dance division from 2020-2022, before joining Complexions as a company member for the summer tour. She has had the opportunity to study with various leading artists in the dance world,

Joe Gonzalez

Faculty

Joe Gonzalez is from Boston Massachusetts, where he trained at Roxbury Center Performing Arts and the Boston Arts Academy. Joe became a Complexions company member in 2022, currently he is Co-Senior Artistic Associate, and will continue his leadership role in the company as Co-Associate Artistic Director, alongside Jillian Davis, starting in August 2025.

Addison Ector

Faculty

Addison Ector is a Los Angeles native, trained at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy and The Alvin Ailey School. He danced with Complexions Contemporary Ballet in NYC for five years, performing works by renowned choreographers such as Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson.

Jourdan Epstein

Faculty

Jourdan Epstein is an NYC based performer, educator, creator and facilitator. She began her career with Complexions Contemporary Ballet and has since danced with companies such as The Metropolitan Opera, The Radio City Rockettes, Twyla Tharp’s “How Long Blues,” Company XIV, Heartbeat Opera, and Bad Boys of Dance.

Larissa Josephn

Faculty

Larissa Joseph is an accomplished Canadian ballerina and contemporary artist from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She joined Complexions Contemporary Ballet in 2015 and has since received critical acclaim for her performances. In her role at Howard University, Mrs. Joseph has helped to integrate Complexions Academy’s unique approach to dance education.
