2022 VIRTUAL SUMMER INTENSIVE

With these ever changing times, we are thrilled to offer our Virtual Summer Intensive Program.
Similar to our in-person Intensives, the Virtual Summer Intensive focuses on a comprehensive whole-body approach to training. Each participant receives direct personal feedback from teachers, who are current and former company members, and esteemed guest faculty.
Each day will start with ’NIQUE or contemporary ballet class that emphasizes coordination, physical ignition, precision, efficiency, and clarity of form. Class will be followed by Repertory or Movement Creation.
As an optional extra add-on, students will have an opportunity to take two contemporary pointe-focused classes, where students will explore the use of the pointe shoe in a contemporary context, and work on articulation and efficiency in the contemporary ballet style that has been the cornerstone of the Complexions repertory.

PARTICIPANTS WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING:

A device with an operational sound and webcam that is compatible with Zoom.

Downloaded and installed Zoom software. Zoom account is not required.

The name under which you attend the class on Zoom must match the student name or Zoom ID entered upon registration.

A strong and reliable Internet connection.

Ballet slippers and form fitting clothes.

Pointe shoes (only required for pointe add-on).

A minimum space of 7 by 8 feet.

Zoom "waiting room" is available 15 minutes before the start of each class.

Class begins promptly at scheduled time. Late comers will not be admitted or refunded.
