YEAR ROUND PRE-PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM

LOS ANGELES PRE-PROFESSIONAL DIVISION

Complexions Academy welcomes an exciting new chapter with the inaugural Year-Round Pre-Professional Program in Los Angeles, offering serious young dancers the opportunity to experience the distinctive training, repertory, and artistic environment of Complexions throughout the academic year.

Under the artistic direction of Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson, Founding Artistic Directors of Complexions Contemporary Ballet, the program brings the artistic perspective and professional training environment of Complexions Academy to Los Angeles through an immersive five-day-a-week experience.

Created for dancers ready to move more deeply into pre-professional study, the program combines technical development, conditioning, repertory, choreography, professional master classes, and performance opportunities within a focused Academy setting.

COMPLEXIONS TRAINING EXPERIENCE

The Year-Round Pre-Professional Program provides a consistent environment where technical training and artistic development progress together.

Dancers are challenged to expand precision, musicality, physicality, versatility, coordination, expressive range, and performance quality while gaining direct exposure to the artistic language and repertory of Complexions.

The year-round structure allows that development to build progressively, giving dancers the time and consistency to deepen both technical command and individual artistry.
